Softball was one of the sports that were added in the first expansion of sports at VHTPA in 2006. Since 2006, we’ve been a competitive force in the CIF City Section. The softball team won the Crosstown League in 2010. In 2012 they reached the CIF semi-finals and the CIF finals in 2013. They won the CIF Championship in 2014. After being the moved from D3 to D1 for your years the softball team was moved to D2 and returned to the 'ship in 2019. Every year VHTPA strives to mold raw talent to maturity with quality coaching, primal workouts and developing a true love of the sport.
Head Coach Cassandra Rodriguez
As head coach, Coach Cassandra works hard to support our student-athletes in the development of their softball skills. She creates an environment that encourages positivity and confidence, while making sure each student-athlete is obtaining the best possible softball training. We are so happy to have Coach Cassandra apart of the VHTPA softball program.
Assistant Coach Robert Avalos
Coach Avalos has been with VHTPA since 2022.  He has come to be a great coach instructing the players in the needed skills regardless of level of the player. Moreover he has become a true mentor of the VHTPA softball ladies. Coach Avalos has coached at the travel and youth levels for many years and we are excited for him to be apart of our family.
