VHTPA's cheer program has been in existence since the first years of VHTPA as a club. Cheer joined CIF in the inaugural year (2017) that Competitive Cheer became a CIF sport. VHTPA has both Sideline Cheer and Competitive Cheer. Whether it is winning competitions, performing at Pep Rallies or at basketball and soccer games the cheer team models Monarch values of servant leadership. VHTPA cheer molds raw talent to maturity with quality coaching, primal workouts and developing a true love of the sport.

Coach Desttanie has over 13 years of cheerleading experience and has been coaching for three years. With extensive knowledge and dedication to the sport, Coach Desttanie is committed to fostering a positive and supportive environment where athletes can grow on both on and off the mat. Believing that anyone with a drive for hard work and dedication can excel. Coach Desttanie works to instill confidence, discipline, and teamwork in every member of the cheer team.
