Baseball was one of the sports that were added in the first expansion of sports at VHTPA in 2006. VHTPA baseball has successfully built a team that regularly is in the playoffs and is a championship contender. In 2016 the baseball team reached the CIF championship game and then returned two years later in 2018. VHTPA molds raw talent to maturity with quality coaching, primal workouts and developing a true love of the sport.

Head Coach Steven Pozo

Coach Pozo is an excellent leader of the baseball program here at VHTPA. Coach Pozo does an superb job of providing a welcoming environment where he can share his knowledge and experience with our student-athletes. Our baseball team would not be where it is today without the high standards he expec ts from our players. We are glad to have Coach Pozo as a leader of the Monarchs baseball program.

Assistant Coach Jesus Avila

Assitant Coach Avila is a valued member of the baseball program here at VHTPA. Coach Avila does an excellent job of suporting a welcoming environment where he can share his professional experience with our student-athletes. Our baseball team would not be where it is today without the support of our coaching staff. We are glad to have Coach Avila as a member of the Monarchs baseball program.

Assitant Coach Scott is a valued member of the baseball program here at VHTPA. Coach Scott is currently playing professional baseball for the Texas Wierdos. Coach Scott does an excellent job of supporting a welcoming environment where he can share his professional baseball knowledge and experience with our student-athletes. Our baseball team would not be where it is today without the support of our coaching staff. We are glad to have Coach Scott as a member of the Monarchs baseball program.
