This is an essay based scholarship is open to all 11th grade students enrolled in a US History class (HUSH or APUSH)

 

President Calvin Coolidge Scholarship

This is a four year full ride academic scholarship for any 11th grade student that is interested in public policy, service to one's community and nation, and demonstrates the values of President Coolidge.

 

President John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage Essay Scholarship

This is an essay based scholarship for students in grades 9th-12th grade who are in a public, private or home school.  Students must be nominated by a teacher or counselor.  Nominating teachers and counselors may be current or former teachers and counselors.  Essays must describe an act of political courage by a US elected official who served after 1917 and addressed an issue at the local, state or national level.  It is highly encouraged to read Profiles in Courage by John F. Kennedy when applying for this scholarship.

 

President Ronald Reagan Scholarship

This scholarship is open for 12th grade seniors who showcase leadership, drive, integrity and citizenship within their communities, schools and workplaces.  While this scholarship is open only for seniors, we need to sign up in 11th grade to receive notices on when it opens for our senior year.

National Youth Leadership Forum - Law & CSI

You can choose to participate in either a legal or CSI track during the program, which will allow you to explore the world of law and crime scene investigation in a way that goes far beyond the classroom. At NYLF Law & CSI, you will cover the entire judicial process in-depth; from the discovery of a crime, through collecting and analyzing all of the evidence, to preparing for the courtroom process, and taking part in the criminal trial.  See Mr. Groven to be nominated in the fall.
